Information and Technology Communications Complex

The Information Technology and Communication Complex (ITCC) is a substantial office project aimed at attracting and accommodating information and communication technology companies looking to establish a presence in the pivotal Riyadh market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Encompassing an expansive area exceeding 800,000 square meters, the ITCC project actively fosters and supports the growth of the IT sector within the region.

DSI, as part of this endeavor, executed the installation of a District Cooling Plant at the ITCC site with a remarkable capacity exceeding 35,000 tonnes of cooling. This project marked a significant milestone from an operations and maintenance perspective. In addition, DSI also managed the construction and installation of two Thermal Energy Storage (TES) tanks, each boasting a capacity of 40,000 TRH. The overall construction encompassed various elements, including civil, process, and MEP services. The successful implementation of the District Cooling Plant within the ITCC premises played a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of District Cooling technology across Saudi Arabia. Previously, utilities and District Cooling systems were not widely embraced in the KSA, but they are now increasingly being integrated into major new developments.
